Wow, I really suck at this right now. With school and work my head is barely above water BUT a couple of weeks ago I headed to Washington D.C. for the day to visit friends. We had the best day full of spontaneous stops here and there and LOTS of walking. My fitbit pretty much exploded.
FOREST! JENNY?! JENNY! (Pronounced Jen-nay)
Cereal milk ice cream at Momofuku. I need more of this right. now.
We originally wanted to go to the Renwick Gallery, but the line was *literally* over a mile long. So we gave that a big ol’ pass. Instead we walked the mall and visited my main man Lincoln. We actually walked through the set for this Amy Schumer Bud Light commercial, so we are pretty much famous now. We kept speculating on what the commercial could be for- it’s pretty awesome that it turned out to be a beer commercial with starring Amy Schumer- two of my favorite things.
Next we headed to Founding Farmers for drinks. This drink was called “the constitution” and we are STILL talking about it, that’s how good it was.
We ended the day with dinner at Momofuku. That word is so fun to say and GUYS, the buns, the pho, the cereal milk ice cream- it was all amazing. I definitely recommend this place and can not wait to go back. Even though our original plans changed, the day ended up being even better than I imagined. It was a reminder that going with the flow and not over scheduling a visit can lead to more fun than any of the best plans can. See you again soon D.C.!
